Veterans can qualify to receive in-home aide care through the Department of Veterans Affairs.
This 40-minute webinar discusses four home care aide programs offered by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
These VA Programs provide care services to Veterans of all ages who need assistance to help them with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, transportation, meal preparation, etc.) in order to stay independent at home or chosen place of residence. They are also designed to remind those who have cognitive impairment (like Alzheimer’s Disease) to perform their ADLs.
These home care programs allow the option of hiring a qualified family member (or friend) to provide the in home aide care – and get paid.
